What is the best and cheapest way to get pooltables, billiard tables in india?
It costs about 1600 on a site i have seen here for USA. Can we import it from china or something into india?
If you are going into business it would be cheaper when ordering by bulk. Try all USA brand names and ask what the going price is for 20-tables, 30-tables, etc.
Other countries have emails as well. You may get a better price but the tables won't be the quality.

Without wanting to diminish the achievements of those Britons who fought for our liberties and defended our country, the most unknown of all British heroes are those which added to the rich, textured and extraordinary character of our Isles.
One such extraordinary hero was William John Cavendish Scott-Bentinck, the fifth Duke of Portland (1800-1879). Many of those that will be nominated for unknown hero will be charismatic, dazzling orators. In contrast the unusual contribution of Scott-Bentinck stemmed from his wish to avoid all forms of human contact at all costs.
His grand ancestral home, Welbeck Abbey, was left mostly empty as he insisted on residing in a tiny corner of the estate, communicating only to his servants with messages on notes passed through a box cut into his door. Food was conveyed to him in a “Wallace and Gromit”-esque fashion on a miniature railway straight from the kitchen into his dining room. In the event of a chance encounter, servants were instructed to pass him as they would a piece of furniture as the horrified Duke would stand motionless until the situation passed. Any servant found disobeying this protocol would be forced to skate around the Duke's private skating ring until exhausted.
Perhaps the barmiest of Scott-Bentinck's contributions was his life long project to construct a second mansion, underground. At one point 15,000 men were employed to build what included a 250 feet long library, a billiard room so big it could hold a dozen billiard tables and the largest Ballroom in the British Isles, with the capacity to hold 2000 guests, an odd feature of a home designed solely for one person. One historian commented that it was as if “he anticipated nuclear warfare”. All rooms were connected with 15 miles of subterranean tunnels, including one tunnel that was consteucted for the purpose of allowing him to ride in his blacked out cariage from his underground palace, straight onto the train at Worksop railway station.
When the Scott-Bentinck eventually passed away at the ripe old age of 79, his family found the cavernous mansion empty of all furnishings except for one central chamber that housed W.J.C's commode. The main entrance hall unexplainably had no floor and the majority of the rest of the rooms were painted in a brilliant and vivid shade of pink. The one room in which the duke resided was found packed from floor to ceiling with an immeasurable quantity of green boxes, each containing a single, dark brown wig.
To many around the globe Britain is seen as an obscure and eccentric place. It is after all claimed that only “mad dogs and Englishmen will go out in the midday sun” and if this is the case, there surely can be no madder dog than William John Cavendish Scott-Bentinck.

I remember being torn between wanting to go to the US and to stay Cuba at the same time. At age 16 I thought I had a choice, and I also thought that if I left there would be no return. Because my 11 year-old brother had to be sent out first, I agreed go be with him. – Your story also reminded me of when my mother and I were looking for a coat and didn't find one. She was also a great seamstress, but had never tackled a coat. My grandmother had made a couple of men's blazers and said surely they could do a coat for me. They went searching for some heavy material and the only thing they found was green felt -the kind they put on billiard tables! I came to the US with a heavy, loud green coat that was a burden to me in Florida City, but I wore it gratefully in New Mexico the following year. I think that parts of that green coat are still among my mother's things … A holy relic I need to find, as my mother's and my grandmother's so lovingly made it for me. I had not thought about it in years.
