After Dark Pool

a strange voice after dark..?
Hi
I was reading past posts on ghosts and it made me want to post something that happened a couple of yrs ago
I was out in my backyard at about 10pm sitting on the edge of my pool and talking on the phone when i hear a little girls voice talking. I can remember that it sounded like mumbling and then would go into a strange language. The back of my yard is a lil bushy and i live in a normal suburb. We have old ppl living on all sides and i'm pretty sure it wasn't a practical joke. The language sounded like nothing ive heard before.
I was very freaked out on the night, told family but they didn't really pay attention so i forgot about it
what do you think ?
íts true..did happen
Hey,
First i would like to apologise in place of all the people that have taken this as a joke. That is rude of them and i urge you to take no notice.
I do believe you, the same thing has happened to me. Unfortunately i can offer no explanation as to where the voice came from and why you have not heard it since. Just wanted you to know that your not alone, or crazy!

Pools and Homeowner Considerations for Garden lights
Trends in exterior custom pools and inground pools have led to an increase in pool lights. This means that homeowners with a professional pool builder and custom pools have generally demanded lower wattage lights which spread the otherwise focused light over the entire pool. People have taken inground pools and pool lights and expounded upon traditional exterior lighting for entries, walkways, and gardens alone. If you are eager to add additional lights around your garden simply to provide "more" light, be cautious that additional light does not mean you are able to see any better. The eye is able to adapt very well to low light levels as well as very high light levels but is only able to adapt to one at a time. The eye can adapt to the light from the moon which is less than a foot of candle light as well as a sunny beach which is the equivalent of over twenty thousand foot candles. If you have a very brightly light entry, the walkway will appear darker, reducing the safety as you or visitors walk to the door. If you have low levels of light on one building or home, and a bright, glaring lighting on the building or home next to it, then the first building will appear dark when compared to the second building. This results from an upward spiral of the increased light levels. This means that the best choice for pool lights would include compact fluorescent lights or lower wattage metal halide lights. These provide the best level of lights with reduced wattage.
In terms of design, many people are torn between aesthetics, maintenance, and functionality. These are the three most important points to consider when designing your inground pools and pool lights. You first want to determine if your pool lights will work best for your custom pool. This means determining whether the light will be delivered to the right places. You then want to uncover whether the light levels you are using are appropriate for safety. You don't want to just use minimum level lights, but you also don't want too much light. The next concern is how it will look. You want the fixtures and the pool lights for your custom pool or inground pools to conform to a uniformed and appropriate aesthetic design. You want to ensure that there is an even light distribution among your pool lights and that there is not a low glare. Next you should determine whether or not your pool lights will incur a high, long-term cost for maintenance.
This means, for example, that a halogen light might be less expensive than a flood light. However, with fixtures running for ten hours per day, you must also consider the annual operating costs associated with each, as well as the longevity associated with each. In this instance, the halogen light might be cheaper initially, but in the long-term it will incur higher costs for operation and will also not last as long as the other lights. When you want great pool lights, you must consider more than just the first cost. Be sure that as a homeowner you consider the initial cost, the long-term costs, as well as the aesthetic and creative quality of the pool lights.

the slip/slide should be slick…don't think a tarp is gonna work…look for a slick plastic…maybe ata hardware store. TEST it before your guests arrive—you don't want anyone getting hurt.
chances are not everybody is going to be into games at the same time…some play sopme watch…the thing is to make it fun just being at the party. And make sure you have designated party game helpers if you do have games….you can't do everything yourself.
retro games like twister and simon says always seem to get a party going…
you can have little contests or like a mini-olympics and give prizes…doesn't have to cost much…
making smores over a small camp fire is a great way to start the summer…for some it will be the closest they ever get to camping! and the smoke keeps the bugs away.
