Buying a Pool Cue Case - Everything You Need to Know Before You Purchase That Billiard Cue Case
If you have a billiard cue (or are even thinking about getting a pool cue) you are going to want to find a good way to protect it. And that means selecting a good billiard cue case to carry it around in. Especially if you ever plan on taking your pool cue with you to a friend's house to shoot some billiards or even to the local pool hall to show the regulars how it's done, a solid way to protect your cue stick is essential. Here's what you should seriously consider before you buy.
Hard or Soft?
This really comes down to: do you want basic or advanced protection? If you just want to protect your cue from simple scratches and marks as you carry your cues, then a soft cue case will just be fine. In fact, many retailers actually give away these cheap cue cases with a purchase of a cue.
But if you are looking for something more substantial, then a hard case is probably the best way to go. These cue stick cases are usually soft on the inside, to cradle the cue, and hard on the outside, to protect against damage that can result from travel. It adds an extra level of protection that helps your cue look better and keep up its performance level longer. A cue hard cue case can even deter wood warping over time.
How Many Cues?
Some pool players just need to bring one pool cue around with them. One butt, one shaft, and that's it. But if you feel more comfortable bringing around your collection of cues, you should check out cases that can have more than a single cue. For example, if you want to bring your break cue for a nice hard break and the cue you use for regular play, a cue case for two cues would be a smart move. Or if you want to bring several shafts, there are actually cue cases that can hold two butts and four billiard shafts.
What Color and Design?
You want to look good while you go around with your cues, right? Being unhappy with the look of your pool cue case can actually have an affect on your game, so choose wisely. The good news is that there are tons of designs to choose from, anywhere from the fun and flashy to the simple and classy. Choose a design on your pool cue case that you are happy with.
Any Storage Pockets?
Any pool shark worth his salt knows that you can't just carry your pool cues around with you. You also need to bring your chalk, bridge head, extra tips, and anything else you might need in order to play are your peak. That's why it's important to look at the storage pockets that billiard cue cases might have. One or two good sized pockets should be enough to guarantee that you will be able to carry around everything that you need to.
Thinking of buying a pool cue case? Then you need to visit billiardsbuyingguide.com. It has all of the best information that you need to make the smartest decisions to build a killer game room.

Its interesting that HP can publish the cartoon and yet, I suspect, would shy away from publishing a MoToon. I think its on the basis that we are big enough to see it and understand how offensive it is without rioting in the streets and demanding the death of the cartoonist.
